Our Weekend.

Gavin and I went here Saturday. He had a really good time running all around. We didn't pick any strawberries because he would have eaten them all before we would have gotten them home, so we'll have to do that next time.

Here's a few from the day.

The sheep Gavin loved. (maybe that's because it didn't move, haha)

Every time Gavin would go up to the animal, the animal would stick his head out to see if Gavin had food in his hand, and the second that the animal did that, Gavin ran. It was just too cute and I was laughing at him every time he did it.

He's still waiting for Gavin to come back..

G's first day!

He did GREAT! He had a really good day. When I dropped him off, he went straight to playing. I called about an hour later to check on him, and the teacher said he cried for a few minutes only, but, that he was fine now..

We officially enrolled him and he starts Tuesday. He goes twice a week from 8:30-12. I can't wait for some "me" time. Bad to say, but, it's true. :-)

Here's some of him before he went.

He's learned how to spin around and he was doing this here.

We're all ready to go!!

Gavin starts "school" tomorrow.

Wow. Our little boy is 17 months old already. We've had some problems finding the "right" school for him and trying to find one that was close enough if something happened that I'd be able to rush right over there, thankfully, we found one. He starts tomorrow. He'll be going from 9-12. It'll be a good break for me and I can get my errands done quickly, and catch up on my DVR shows..

So, wish Gavin good luck and lets hope for no tears from him, or me, for that matter.

We made it threw the weekend..

and so far, so good.. I'm just trying not to think about it..It seems to make the day to by quicker. I just have to get into my routine..

But, I got some pictures of Gavin today painting for the first time. I don't think he knew what to think of it..

Then it was outside on our patio for a while so he can get some sunshine.

Pictures from today..

Here's some pictures I took at the airport before he left... we miss him already..

It was a hard day..

for me and Nick today. He left for his deployment. People tell you to prepare yourself, but, you can't. There is just no possible way to prepare yourself for what your about to face alone with a toddler, and to watch your husband walk in security without you.
Walking out of the airport and into my car, I cried. Coming home and him not being here is hard so far when I'm used to it. And, it's only been a few hours. I'm sure tomorrow it'll hit me. It'll hit me when I can't talk to him when I want too.. Just pray that it goes as best as it could, please..

So, for the next 6 months, it'll be me and Gavin. Great bonding time when he's already SUPER attached to me. He's a mama's boy for sure!! Nick will tell you that one.

So for now, i'm off to start dinner. Gavin's about to wake up from his nap.

Back to square one.

on trying to find G a new daycare/school to go too. We went to one today and just both didn't have the feeling your supposed to get. There was a few things with it that neither of us were happy about.

So, tomorrow is day 2 of trying to find him a good school.

We're checking out Montessori East County and hoping for the best.

Wish us luck.

A little update

Just a quick little update.

Gavin has been sick the last few days, he's had a fever, nasty diapers, and he even vomited one time all over me. And, if you know me, you know that I can't stand when I see or hear anyone doing that. But, I was a trooper and held him until he finished and then it was in the bath for him. He seems to be doing a little better these last few days. It was even nice enough to put him in a jacket and go for a walk around the block today, I haven't been taking him out since he has been sick, so it was nice to get out and get some fresh air.

And, we got the call today that our stuff will be here tomorrow between 8-9. We're so excited to finally have our tv's, our kitchen table and most of all, our bed. Gavin will be excited to have all his toys and we can make this place "our home".

Most of you know that, come Friday, Nick leaves for about 6 months. This will be a hard day for me and G, and even though he won't understand what's going on, I will. I hate for him to leave me and G. I know he's dreading the day too, thankfully, I'll have our phones and emails until it's time, but, I'm dreading Friday. :-(

I enrolled Gavin in this place called Gymboree Play & Music, he starts that this Saturday, and we even put him in school/daycare too, so I could get a break and he can make some friends.

I joined a group out here that's for military mommies so I'm hoping to make some friends out here and get Gavin to some places too with the events they have going on.

So, that's all that's been going on for us..

Please, let me know you came and visited.. I want to know someone's reading along.

Gavin playing at the park

Thankfully, we have a park 10 feet from our house. I take Gavin there to play quite a bit, he seems to enjoy it.. Here's some pictures I've taken while he was there one day.

Our first few days.. in pictures.

San Diego- Day 1-3

Flying in to here was gorgeous. The view from the plane was something that I never expected to see, the mountains were breathtaking.

As soon as we got off the plane, we all were so tired from flying all day. In our time, we were still 3 hours ahead of San Diego time. So, we quickly got our rental car, found our hotel, grabbed some dinner and we were off to bed.

The next morning waking up was different. Just the feel of it. I walked out on our balcony and looked at the view. Our hotel was right on the ocean and the breeze that came from the ocean was so nice.

We took Gavin out to the park they had there on the beach for him to play on.

I still have to upload the pictures...

We're here..

and I'll be updating this with all our pictures, things that we do, and things that we're getting used too.

So join in, leave some comments and let me know you were here.
