Christmas Cards..

Since I'm in a Christmas type mood, I thought I would post about it. Do you send Christmas cards? Receive them? Now, with 2 children, I'm hoping that I can keep up and still send them out.
Usually, we buy our Christmas cards the prior year when they are on a super sale, but, this year, I thought that we should do a "photo" christmas card since right now, our family is complete.

Then, when I heard that Shutterfly was doing a amazing deal and you can get 50 free cards, I jumped on the chance to do it. Super easy, and hardly any work. Just put a stamp on it and mail.

Some of my favorite cards and products from Shutterfly..

Now, these are a HUGE hit in our fmaily. My sister used to get these for myself and my mom when it was just 1 nephew, it was a pratical gift and we loved them.
And, who does not use a calendar

Now, these MUST be my favorite. My sister has a couple of these up in her house and I love them. I want to get some of my children when Baby T gets to the sitting up stage. I love wall art

And, one more of my favorites from them.. more cards

So, head over there, check out your favorites, and let me know which one are your favorites.

And, anyone else who blogs about this, can get 50 free cards.. follow this link.. http://bit.ly/sfly2010

Back in California....

and what a change we all have went threw. N is finally home. After 8 long months, he finally came home on September 23rd. Thankfully, we won't have to do another deployment like that again for a long time. He does leave again in the new year for 3 months and will miss yet another birthday, and anniversary.

We did the drive back from Florida to California a little over a month ago. I do not recommend that drive to anyone, we did it twice in the last year and I can thankfully say that Delta will provide my transportation from now on. The drive was easy, T was a super easy baby, slept most of the time. G watched his movies and played in the back seat. And, I had my husband drive the whole way.. he was a trooper, well, mainly because we were pulling a trailer and me with a trailer driving a SUV don't mix.
Crazy story, we stopped in Tombstone, AZ and stayed at a hotel there and as we were getting out of the car to check in, our back window of our car shattered. N thinks that it was because we were in Tombstone and some "ghost" did it. I don't believe that story one bit. I like to think that it was elevation and air pressure. The hotel we stayed in was creepy. I felt out of place there. It just had a different feel to it.

G just recently had his 3rd birthday, we can't believe our little man is 3 already! Where did the time go, seriously?

And, because, licking the ice cream is much better than using your spoon

T is just as sweet as can be. He's such an easy baby, and is always smiling or laughing about something.. he melts my heart.

He was 3 months here..

And, now, our big little boy at 5 months. I can't even begin to imagine that he's already 5 months! Time sure has flown for us..

ok, well, my computer isn't letting me upload any more pictures.. so his 5 months will have to wait...

2 Month Appt.

Took T into get shots today. My little monkey had to get 4. ouch!

But, he weighs 14.8 pds and is 24 inches long. He's double his birth weight exactly! We have a chunky little guy on our hands..

Finally.. updates galore...

Most of you know that, Baby T was born on June 18th at 6:36pm. I had the easiest labor and delivery ever! Contractions didn't bother me. It was like cake. (But, that does NOT make me want anymore, we are done.)
So, here's pictures along with updates..

Last pregnancy picture ever! I was 39 Weeks and 5 days.

And, here he is..not even a hour old. (looking like his daddy)

He is the sweetest little guy around. Gavin is a great big brother, always wanting to help. If he's crying, he gives him the pacifier. If his blanket falls off, he attempts to put it back on. I couldn't have asked for 2 better kids. ( I hope I don't jinx myself tonight)

My 2 sweet little men

He does get fussy, he's not always sweet and loveable.

1 Month Old.

2 Months Old. (I can't believe it's been 2 months already!)

And, the big brother G.

So, we're getting into our routine of things and just going day by day. Counting down the days until N comes home. We have finally about a month left!!! Everyone told me that once T comes, that the last couple months will fly by, I didn't believe it, but, it's really flown by. I can't wait for our weekend away, and the break from the kids..that's not bad I said that, right?? ;-)

My mother in law came in in June to see Baby T, and G. We went to Disney for the day with G only.
(Can you believe that a Disney photographer took this picture?)

We just recently went to Disney and Animal Kingdom for a long weekend. It was hot, and we should have known not to go in August, I think I lost 10 pounds from sweating so much. We had a great time though, and Gavin loved seeing Minnie (he prefers Minnie over Mickey)

He was so excited from afar. When he got up to see them, the look on his face says it all..he wasn't so sure then.

So for now, we are just counting down until N comes home!! The closer it comes, the more excited I get. It's sad when G says to me "I Miss Daddy". Breaks my heart!

So, for now, Baby T needs food or he won't be a happy little guy.

How many days again???

13 days!! WOW!!!
As, I swallow even harder, I realize that my life is about to change within days!! I can't believe that it's so soon and it's here. I'm full term. 38 weeks today. If he does not coming this week, they are scheduling inducing next week. I really don't want to get induced again since the first time was hard enough on me, and I'd rather go naturally, and my Dr. thinks I won't need it. We will see.

So, here's the 38 week belly picture. Yes, I'm huge. I know that. Yes, he's "hanging" low! ;-)

Busy, busy, busy..

So, about a month or so ago, we got a video of Nick reading some books to Gavin. Gavin loves the video's and wants to watch them all day long. So, last night as we were watching the video again, I told him to go give Daddy hugs, and this is what he did..

Also, over the weekend, was my baby shower and thankfully, my mother in law got to fly down from Michigan to attend it. So, we went to the beach, ate out enough, and did some shopping. Gavin loves chasing the seagulls around the beach, and he's very serious when he does it. He also loves wearing his sunglasses around too..

I can't believe it. 1 month left! How has this pregnancy flew by? I thought it would drag since Nick isn't here, but, maybe keeping up with a toddler makes the days fly by.
I have my 36 week appt. tomorrow, and I have been going every 2 weeks. All is normal, the are just watching my blood pressure, which hasn't been high lately, so that's a good thing. Just getting his room finished and stuff put away. I never remember it being this exhausting when we did it with Gavin..
We have decided to go with the Dr. Seuss theme and I love it. The colors are bright and I can't wait to have it done.

29 weeks!

Where has time went? I can't believe that in about 2 months we will have 2 kids!!

So, 29 week belly picture.

It has been gorgeous here...

so that means outside time. We love it. I love living where it's warm and we can go to the beach on a whim, or the pool if we choose.

So, today, we loaded up and went to the zoo. It was gorgeous outside. The zoo finally has the water park open, so he played in that for a while and we just walked around and enjoyed it.

We're getting there...

I can't believe that so soon (81 days), we will have 2 kids, both boys! Phew!

Your Baby: Month 7
Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

As I type this, I have a very strong kicker the belly and one who's napping, so the peace and quiet is wonderful.

Now, that I've finally gotten all settled into our house, I am finally getting things for him, T, as we like to call him. I am getting his crib, changing table, and mattress tonight- so, Gavin will no longer have a play room. It will be different seeing stuff getting put into T's room and not G's room. I wonder what G will really think.

I'm excited, nervous, scared. Every emotion in one runs threw my head multiple times a day having 2 kids in less than 3 months! Even more so with Nick not being able to come home until October. At least I have my mom and sister who are here to help. I don't know what I would do if we still lived in California. My wonderful mother in law is coming out after the birth as well to visit so I'm looking forward to seeing her.

Next weekend is my birthday! I'll be out of my 20's and into my 30's. Yikes!! We are heading down to Orlando and going to Disney on Saturday and then Downtown Disney on Sunday and eating at the T-Rex Dinosaur Restaruant. Every time I have went, it's been on such a long wait, so this time, we were smart and put in reservations about 2 weeks ago. We are staying at a Disney resort which my nephew will love, and G will just be on the look out for Minnie (his current obsession, along with cars).

Nick is doing as well as expected. I can't say to much, but, he is well and hanging in there.. just keep praying for a safe return.

So, that's what has been going on with us.

It's slowly moving..

and, it seems like N's been gone for the longest time, when really, it's only been a month and half. I guess taking care of a 2 1/2 year old and being pregnant makes for long days sometimes. I am liking the time change though..makes me think that I have an extra hour to myself...ya, right.

This pregnancy has been different all around. I have been diagnosed with Chronic Hypertension and since I have that, I have to see the Dr. every 2 weeks until I deliver and I get ultrasounds to measure his growth every month. The ultrasound parts I like.. :-), seeing the Dr. isn't my favorite thing. It seems as though every time I go in there, I'm getting blood taken for some reason or another. They even drew blood twice for the same thing, (gotta love the Navy for that mess up) I did pass my glucose test, thankfully. I did get to see the little guy in 3D again yesterday, he was sucking his thumb again. It seems like that is all he does. I just can't believe in 3 months, we'll be parents to 2 kids. I just wish N was here to celebrate it all with me.

We are here..he's there..

We (me and G) are here. Nick is there. It breaks my heart more and more that he's gone. It's different this time around though since I am pregnant so it's harder to deal with a 2 year old who loves, eh, sigh having tempers. There are many days where I ask myself what on earth was I thinking when we wanted another one. We didn't think that he would be getting deployed this year, so that was the reason we tried, little did we know, that the Navy had other plans in store for us.

So, for now, you get the little posts..

Nothing has changed. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and it's flying by. There's days where I wish it would slow down. I move into my apartment on Monday, so I'm looking forward to getting it set up just the way I like it. Gavin is going into a toddler bed since he likes to escape his crib now, so we have big adjustments for us all. I hope we can manage.

2010 is going to be a BUSY one for us..

We have so much to look forward too, but, so much to not look forward too.

2009 was a great year for us. We survived our 1st deployment together and are about to embark on our second one. We moved to California. The first time away from my family and friends. It's hard, i'll admit. We found out that we're expecting our second child. Gavin is growing up more and more and he amazes us daily with what he does. If I'm not laughing at Nick, I'm laughing at something that Gavin has done. We're beyond thrilled for all that we have overcome and even more excited to see what 2010 has in store for us.

Nick leaves in Feb for the dreaded Afghanistan. I'm excited to be moving back to Jacksonville while he is gone though. I get to have the baby in Jax. I get to see my nephews grow up even more. Gavin and Aiden get along great, so seeing them together is the best of all. Being with my family is what makes it all worthwhile.

We found out on December 29th 2009 that we are welcoming our second BOY into our family. We are beyond excited and thrilled. I can't wait to put his name to his sweet face. Gavin is going to be a great big brother. Let's see if he will share his cars with his brother.

And.. for Gavin.. We can't believe he's over 2. Where has time gone? He's in the 90th percentile for his height and 70% for weight. At his last check up, he weighed 32 pounds. We have ourselves a little football player on our hands.
